My name is Pearlie Peterson. I am 23 years of age and my brother Tylen has Down Syndrome. I am currently a Medical Assistant student at Vista College, due to graduate in November 2021. I have two children; a three year old and a one year old who will be two in November as well. When not at school I’m a full time mother; my babies bring out the best in me and my goal is to give them the best life possible and that starts with having a career. I am determined & motivated Thank you for letting me participate in the buddy walk event; it means so much to me. Since my lil brother has been in my life its made me view things a lot differently and I wouldn’t change it for the world. When I look into his eyes, I see nothing but pure joy and happiness. Never sadness ( unless you take the tablet or phone away lol). Again, thanks for allowing our family to participate and represent Tylen in this race.
